navy Recruit Training What in the hell did I take on myself into? That was the thought that was going through my g everyplacenment issue as I got off the bus at the Navys enrol training command. I had no melodic theme what I was in for or the valuable lessons I would goldbrick during my time there. care to detail, discipline, and teamwork are just a some of the attri entirelyes that I would learn and have beaten into my head over and over again. care to detail was a necessity during raw material training and it was drill into you from the moment you got off the bus. This was done non just to deposit basic training harder but for our benefit, because when we ultimately got to our ship, paying watchfulness to detail could mean the difference amidst life and death. We were attached detailed instructions on how to do everyaffair. Our uniforms had to be folded a accredited way, the sheets on our racks had to have tiny creases in them and be put on in a certain direct. in that respect was even a certain order in which we were to pack our c dole outhes in our racks. Without give away an RDC (Recruit Division Commander) could come in and inspect our racks; and if he institute our sheets werent creased exactly right, or we had one uniform circumstance out of place, the whole de doweryment would be disciplined.

This was just other way of stressing the importance of fear to detail. Our first week of basic, everybody in the division was put into teams and devoted certain things which they were responsible. I was part of the head crew, which meant tha t every aurora four others and I were in ch! arge of cleaning the head (bathroom). It may not await like a line that would require a lot of attention to detail but this was the Navy, and like every thing else, it had to be perfect. The toilet wind had to be torn at once across and the end had to be positioned at twelve oclock, all faucets had to be suddenly clean without a bingle smudge, in essence it had to be perfect.
